Labor Day

Well I got a couple of things done over the long weekend, but I am still working on some items. I have an over abundance of Play-Doh that is just sitting in my classroom. We have been reviewing letters in class and have also been introducing "popcorn words" aka. "sight words." Over the weekend I figured that I would make Play-Doh/Dry Erase Mats for my kiddos so that they could work on these skills. These mats are great for center activities and I cannot wait to start centers in my classroom. These mats are also great for individual student use if you have students who tend to finish their work early and need something productive to do to keep them busy. I think my kinders are going to love these bright, colorful mats and they are going to be thrilled to use PLAY-DOH and DRY ERASE MARKERS! They are going to think that they hit the JACK POT!
